April 24, 1932 – May 25, 2021

Barry Bach Galton, 89, passed away at home in Wayne, NJ. A graduate of Yale University and the Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons, Barry established his practice in internal medicine and cardiology in Wayne in 1964. He was on the Clinical Faculty of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Barry was married to Ann Burnholz Galton for nearly 66 years. Ann and Barry loved to travel throughout the national parks of the American West, driving cross-country twice each year until 2019, especially to Scottsdale, AZ and Aspen, CO. In younger years, they traveled more extensively. Barry even visited Antarctica in 1991. Together, they enjoyed the NY Philharmonic, eating out with friends, and spending time with extended family. Barry served as President and Board member of the YM-YWHA in Wayne, where he loved to play squash. He became the patriarch of the large Galton-Bach family; he offered warmth, love, and sage advice to all. Barry supported numerous environmental, political, ethical, and humanitarian causes worldwide.
